Access to most WisTransPortal data retrieval tools requires an active login account. Transportation data from the WisTransPortal can also be requested directly from TOPS lab via the Data Services page.

Request an Account

Access to most WisTransPortal data retrieval tools requires an active login account. To request an account, contact Steven Parker, sparker@engr.wisc.edu, at TOPS Lab. Please include your basic contact information (name, email, and organization, phone number) and indicate which resource or resources (crash data, traffic video, etc.) you would like to access.

Forgot User ID or Password

If you have an existing account but have forgotten the User ID or password, click on Forgot Password at the right-hand side of the navigation bar (next to the Login link) to request an automated email message with your User ID or instructions to reset your password. A Forgot Password link is also on the WisTransPortal Login Form or click here. For additional login account assistance, contact Steven Parker, sparker@engr.wisc.edu, 608-265-4921, at TOPS Lab.

Change Password

After you have logged in, you can change your password and other contact information at any time by clicking on Manage Account at the right hand side of the navigation bar (next to the Logout link). Send mail to transportal@topslab.wisc.edu if you have any difficulty using the Manage Account interface.
