Welcome to The Roadwork Community Map page. So you’re planning a trip through southwest Wisconsin? Would you like to know where all of the construction sites are? This page can help. With The Roadwork Community Map page, you can view all of the 2007 construction projects in the counties of Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland in southwest Wisconsin.

How do I use this page?
This page can be used by anyone. This page will show all of the construction projects in the five-county region of Southwestern Wisconsin. Each project is listed in the table. There are three different types of searches provided: Select by Counties, Draw a Planned Route, and Search Roadwork.

Select by Counties:
Use Select by Counties to view all construction projects in an entire county. For example, click on Grant County. Every project in Grant County will be displayed on the map.

Draw a Planned Route:
Use this tool to draw a selected route. To draw a route, click on the Draw Planned Route icon. Now, simply click on the map, clicking on several points along your route. For example, suppose you wanted to look at several projects along US Highway 151 in Iowa County. Simply click along US 151 in Iowa County until the green line has covered the stretch of road that you want. Select the Search Roadwork icon at the bottom of the screen. By using this, a green line will highlight your desired route. The computer will only search roads within the green line that you created.

Panning to a County:
Use this to view a selected county.

Clear Route:
Use this icon to delete the green-line route.

Map:
This shows the map of the five-county region.

Satellite:
This shows the satellite view of the five-county region.

Hybrid:
This displays a satellite view, but also shows the borders for each county.
